Update/Delete Records — No Code Solution

Traditionally, we rely on Background Scripts or Fix Scripts to update or delete records based on specific conditions. However, ServiceNow offers an out-of-the-box (OOB) no-code capability to handle these tasks:

System Data Management: Update/Delete Jobs

This feature allows you to update or delete records based on defined conditions without the need for scripting.
Additionally, the platform provides a rollback feature to restore the updated records to their previous state, ensuring safe and reversible changes.

For instance, I tested this feature by updating comments on incidents that had not been updated in the last 7 days. The rollback functionality even reverted the updated comments back to their original state.
